Hall of Masters

I call this place the Hall of Masters. It is a my way of recongnizing and honoring those who came before us for thier accomplishments and contributions to the martial arts.

Gichin Funakoshi
Founder of Shotokan Karate
• Created the Taikyoku Kata.
• Introduced Karate to Japan

Born: June 10, 1868
Died: April 26, 1957

 

Morihei Ueshiba (O-Sensei)
Founder of Aikido

Born: December 14, 1883
Died: April 26, 1969


Hohan Soken (O-Sensei)
• Instructor to George Dillman
• Handed down pressure point knowledge to Master Dillman.

Born: May 25, 1889
Died: November 30, 1982

 

Professor Wally Jay
Founder of Small Circle Jujitsu™

Born: June 15, 1917


Ed Parker
Father of American Kenpo

Born: March 19, 1931
Died: December 15, 1990

 

Professor Remy A. Presas
Father of Modern Arnis

Bruce Lee
Founder of Jeet Koon Do

10th Dan and Grandmaster of Ryukyu Kempo
• Responsible for bringing the knowledge of Pressure Points to the masses.

Yoda
Jedi Master

A science fictional charater, but the embodyment of all masters so I feel he should be recognized.
